Our planet has seen better days. The good news is we are here to help you envision a brighter future
with the right pair of sustainable glasses. Our conscious glasses are not only made from eco-friendly
materials but through an efficient manufacturing process.
In terms of working towards a more sustainable future, while we still have a long way to go,
“Hello-o my name is… ”, we have made great strides to create high-quality eyewear that is more ethical
and all-around better for the environment.
The glasses that are friendly to you and the environment
1. Titanium, 100% recyclable material
All the frames of the “Hello-o my name is…” glasses are made of titanium.
Since titanium does not deteriorate/rust (almost) indefinitely, it is easy to recycle and is an
environmentally friendly metal in itself.
Titanium has excellent resistance, is harmless to the human body. It is a valuable resource with a long
life cycle.
Titanium is not necessary the cheapest material, but if we recycle titanium products that have once been
refined decreases the need for electricity in a long term, and reduces CO2 emissions.
2. Nothing is wasted with the bending method
Our manufacturing process makes no waste by bending titanium precisely instead of assembling different
parts made of different materials.
Titanium processing methods are limited compared to other metals because titanium has the characteristic
of being "highly versatile but difficult to process". That is why titanium is classified as a
"difficult-to-cut material". Handling titanium itself requires high skills, let alone to use the bending
method. We use only 5 grams of titanium for one frame, just enough to utilize its functions.
3. 80% less power consumption
The bending method uses 80% less power compared to traditional processing methods such as laser machines and press work. The less power we consume, the better it is for our planet. As simple as that!
